An enriching pre-show lecture with special guest, Author and Comedian, Judy Batalion. Join us as she discusses the interweaving of humour and trauma in her work. The celebrated essayist whose tales have appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and Vogue will talk about her past, family, and growing up in Jewish Montreal. Batalion will share excerpts from her first book White Walls : A Memoir about Motherhood, Daughterhood, and the Mess in Between (NAL/Penguin, 2016).
