Groupe émergent de la scène indépendante locale, LOS fait honneur à la pop et au rock made in UK des années 1990. Loin de tomber dans la simple copie carbone, LOS intègre le meilleur des artistes comme Teenage Fanclub, Ride puis Elvis Costello et continue de façonner sa propre identité à travers les trois mini-albums parus à ce jour. Garage, pop, punk, rock... les influences sont variées et l’avenir s’annonce prometteur pour le quintette, dont le premier long jeu sortira à l'automne 2016.
A band emerging from the local independent scene, LOS honours 1990s pop and rock made in the UK. Far from being a mere carbon copy, LOS incorporates the best artists, such as Teenage Fanclub, Ride and Elvis Costello, and continues to shape its own identity through their three mini-albums. Garage, pop, punk, rock... the influences are varied and the future looks promising for the quintet, whose first full-length album will be released in the Fall of 2016.

Il dirige depuis 2003 Cuchabata Records, étiquette musicale indépendante originalement de Valleyfield et maintenant situé à Montréal. David and the Woods, c’est aussi Maxime Deschênes (aussi de Amantani / Loïc April) à la basse et François Dubé (aussi de Pop Goes) à la batterie.
David and the Woods is specifically David Dugas Dion, singer-songwriter advocating a traditional approach, mostly homemade and DIY. Since 2003, he runs Cuchabata Records, an independent music label based originally in Valleyfield and now based in Montreal, Canada. David and the Woods is also Maxime Deschênes (also in Amantani / Loïc April) on bass and François Dubé (also in Pop Goes) on drums.
