Le 6 mars, Citizen Vintage révélera leur dernière vitrine: "Ketchup", par Hugo Dufour
Hugo Dufour a consommé de la publicité. Il a débattu, conçu et créé des publicités. Il crée toujours des images, et se fait maintenant un point d’honneur à ne jamais y montrer la vérité, mais les émotions qu’elles provoquent restent aussi réelles que possible. Ces émotions sont complètement dissociées de ses propres sentiments en tant qu’artiste. Elles existent à la frontière floue entre une réalité stérile et le lien empathique que nous partageons tous en tant qu’humains. Ce qu'il crée est du néant artificiellement significatif, des parodies des certitudes créées par la publicité.

On March 6th Citizen Vintage will be unveiling their latest window display entitled "Ketchup" by Hugo Dufour
Hugo Dufour has seen advertising. He has made advertising. He has have talked, thought and created identities. Hugo still makes images, and he makes a point to always lie in them, but the emotions they provoke are as real as can be. These emotions are completely dissociated from the artist’s own feelings. They stand in the awkward zone between a sterile reality and the empathic bond we share as humans. What Hugo makes is artificially meaningful emptiness, parodies of the certitudes crafted by advertisement.
