This will be the last time we do this before the New Year, so come meet/greet and have fun :)
In short, I want to introduce you to the folks at Kramer's - a new music spot in Toronto that actually gives musicians a GUARANTEE to play. The venue is ideal for singer-songwriters (downstairs or upstairs) and smaller (3-4) piece bands (upstairs).
Come out on December 10th, play a few tunes (I'll have a keyboard and bass on hand, if you want to use them or want others to jam along on your songs) and I'll put you in contact with the booker.
Sign up starts at 8:30. Open mic starts anytime after that. A "cover jam" will happen after the first set (this week's audience request is "The Bad Touch" Bloodhound Gang ... should be funny!) and an improv jam will take place at 10:30 to close out the night by 11 (or a bit later if we're on a roll).
NO COVER. Just come hang out :) Non-musicians welcome too, of course! :) The more the merrier.
Oh... and so you know ... they serve food too! But come early if you want to eat.
