Saturday May 2nd will see both the Quebec Saints and the Ottawa Swans in their first big hit outs of the year when they face each other in the much coveted Pony Platter Shield at the Rideau Carleton Raceway Oval in Ottawa.
The Saints are twice reigning champions of the Pony Platter, something they will be hoping to continue, while the Swans will be hoping to bring an end to their losing streak against their Eastern neighbours.
No matter at what stage you are at in your Australian Rules football career, whether you will be a first game rookie or a 15 year veteran you will be guaranteed game time on the day.
This will also be the first chance for everybody to stretch their legs after a long Canadian winter and show off their newly learned/refined skills from indoor practice.
