For Spring Break, from March 2 to 8, Pointe-à-Callière is inviting families to take part in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities during which they can have some fun exploring Québec traditions and the world of La Petite Vie.
Outside the Museum, families can get together at Pointe-à-Callière’s urban sugar shack, where they will learn more about the steps involved in transforming maple sap into syrup while participating in different activities such as storytelling around the fire, an interactive quiz, and see demonstrations of know-how from such craftspeople as a cooper, a trough digger, and a maker of webbed snowshoes.
Families visiting the Museum, at regular admission rates, will be able to take part in several special creative activities. These will give children a chance to enter the wacky world of the show La Petite Vie with a photobooth, creative activities and different games.
