He will address the gap between his perception of the project by Sabeth Buchmann, Ilse Lafer and Constanze Ruhm at the time he wrote his essay for the anthology Putting Rehearsals to the Test: Practices of Rehearsal in Fine Arts, Film, Theater, Theory, and Politics, and his subsequent experience of the exhibition. By following the exhibition layout proposed by the curators and analyzing specific artworks, he will speculate on how this essay might have taken another form.
