Pour l'occasion, nous avons invité le très réputé groupe: Misses Satchmo
C’est franchement mené par la pétillante Lysandre Champagne (voix et trompette) que le charmant quatuor Misses Satchmo présente sa relecture actuelle et originale de l’oeuvre de Louis Armstrong, surnommé Satchmo. Un groupe de musiciens chevronnés distribuant sourires et clins d’oeil, les Misses s’amusent dans une joyeuse mise en scène de style cabaret, fortement imprégnée de l’esprit New-Orleans. Ils ont lancé leur premier album « The sun will shine » au Festival International de Jazz en juin 2011, leur second album "Apple Tree" est maintenant disponible!
Le Band sera appuye par un tag team féminin de DJs Tanya Teal et Andreanne Leveillee

For the occasion, we invited the renowned swing band: Misses Satchmo
Misses Satchmo, a quartet led by the dazzling Lysandre Champagne on vocals and trumpet, presents an original, modern take on the works of Louis Armstrong, nicknamed Satchmo. The group offers a cabaret-style mise-en-scène spiced up with New Orleans flavour, and the members’ complicity and love of music is infectious. Spectators are charmed from the get-go. The group launched its first album, “The Sun Will Shine” at the Montréal International Jazz Festival in June 2011, their follow-up "Apple Tree" is available now!
Backing up the band will be a tag team of female DJ talent, Tanya Teal and Andréanne Leveil lee
