Christian Pronovost AKA Lost Heroes is renown by the DJ Community as the Godfather of Montreal House Music. Behind the controls for now 30 years, (while still somehow looking like he’s in his 30s… Jerk. lol), he's known for his flawless mixes, shamanistic sonic manipulation and his cutting edge programming.
His notable contribution to the Montreal’s club scene and underground music culture is imprinted in the city’s DNA with the now mythic record store + DJ mecca: Inbeat Records (1986/2010). For over 20 years Christian Pronovost and his team provided, influenced and inspired DJs having an integral role in setting the foundation of today’s electronic music scene. Through this heavy involvement in the DJ scene, he was unavoidably involved in most of all the important nightclubs/events/afterhours in Montreal through residency, consultancy, promotion or events.
A true ambassador and music diplomat he shared bookings & the stage with the who’s who of the electronic music scene, many of the top DJs & artists like: Frankie Knuckles, Lil Louis, Moby, Grace Jones, Bob Sinclair, Dimitri de Paris, Basement Jaxx, Josh Wink, Louie Vega, King Britt, Alex from Tokyo, Elements Of Life, DJ Gregory, Francois K, Joe Claussell, Danny Krivit, Kerri Chandler, Jeff Mills, & Tony Humphries,, to name a few...

ABOUT SHAYDAKISS
Shaydakiss is the ONLY DJ to have held a monthly residence at Velvet Speakeasy since its opening, a journey that has lasted close to 6 years now.
Already a prominent figure of Montreal's nightlife, Shaydakiss has evolved into one of the city's most loved DJs. The homegrown lady of this cultural city is no outsider to the late-night party scene.
Long-affiliated with Teenwolf Tuesdays and as being one sixth of the Peer Pressure group, Shaydakiss isn’t just making noise here at her home base, but is also solidifying her presence nation-wide in Quebec City, Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver. Topping that, she’s played the likes of hotspots in New York City, Los Angeles and is fast becoming a resident DJ of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
