Free and Open to the Public to Assist The pitches follow a presentation by Elizabeth Stefanka Facebook, Twitter, Post-it Notes, Doctors Without Borders They all have something in common.... They were somebody's big idea... Do you have the next big idea? Want to win an opportunity to launch a business? Maybe you have an idea for a social project? An innovative solution to a complex problem, like traffic or world hunger? Or a solution to a simple problem that nobody has addressed? Or even an idea to improve your life at Dawson College? Pitch an idea during Dawson’s Den on Monday, November 16. Be there at 6 p.m. for the keynote speaker. The pitches come immediately after. There are no limits to your presentation style. Be creative. Be crazy. Be cool. Register as an individual or as a team of up to two Dawson students or Dawson alumni. If you’re going to pitch an idea, here are some questions you can address during your pitch: What opportunity have you identified? What problem you want to solve? What need are you trying to meet? How you think the problem should be solved? Who will benefit the most from your solution? Who is your competition? Has anybody else thought of it? How will you implement your solution? What skills do you and your team bring to the table? Watch the video on our YouTube channel for tips on pitching. ***Please select either a participant ticket or a spectator ticket*** 6 Steps to Participate in the Dawson’s Den Competition Like our page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DawsonEweek Register for Dawson’s Den before Thursday, November 12, 2015 at noon.
