The Prime Minister's Office contacted the United Irish Societies last week informing us that Irish Taoiseach Enda Kenny would be visiting Canada May 3 to 5. We were told that Prime Minister Trudeau will host a lunch to welcome the Taoiseach on May 4 and the community would be welcome to join. In fact, they asked if we could help fill the room by spreading the invitation throughout the community.
The event will be held by the Montreal Chamber of Commerce through their Bell International Leaders series. The details of the event are below as well as a link to where individual tickets and tables can be purchased. The room holds a maximum of 500 so please purchase your tickets well in advance. This type of event sells out within 1 - 2 days.
