2.30pm - Ottawa Swans vs Quebec Saints
Saturday May 7th at 2.30pm will see both the Quebec Saints and the Ottawa Swans in their first big hit outs of the year. They will face each other in the much coveted annual Pony Platter Shield at the beautiful new home of Ottawa Australian Football, the Manotick Polo Grounds.
After two succesive defences, the Saints finally lost to the Ottawa Swans in the 2015 edition. The Montreal men will be hoping to rectify the situation on May 7th while the Swans will be hoping to hang onto the Shield for another year.
The Mens game will be preceeded by the inaugural Womens Pony Platter Shield at 12.30pm, between the Ottawa Lady Swans and the Montreal Angels.
No matter at what stage you are at in your Australian Rules football career, whether you will be a first game rookie or a 15 year veteran you will be guaranteed ample game time on the day!
