Mess Around is a maximum r&b and soul dance party, conceived as a means for DJs New Breed Nick and Ben Shulman to play their vintage soul/r&b 45s in Montreal and open club-goers' ears to these sounds. The monthly dance party has now been going two years strong, and is regularly packed to the gills with enthusiastic revelers ready to dance the night away. Mess Around was voted #1 Club Night in Cult MTL’s annual BOM 2015 reader’s poll. The two DJs hope to bring vintage soul/r&b to the masses in Montreal, and give the music the proper recognition it deserves in a city full of appreciating audiences.
