For the 9th and final installment of "Beards on Ice: Skating for Shelter," I invite you to join me for a fun skate at City Hall on Churchill Square. I really hope to have a big crowd out for the final stop of the tour, and it would mean a lot to me if, for my gift (my actual birthday is on the 24th, and I'll be 35), you made a generous donation to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. We can do a lot of good, and the monies collected will contribute to violence prevention programs and housing for those who have suffered domestic violence. If you are a victim of violence, I want you to know that there are many who love and care about you, and that you should not feel ashamed to ask for assistance. Help is available.
Following the skate, I am going to Tres Carnales for some delicious Mexican food, and invite you all to join me.
Bring your own skates. No entry fee.
Suggested donation to Shelter of $25.
For more information, call Jerry at 1-780-966-6537.
