Symbol of Openness and Union of Peoples, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges SOUP Festival is a Festival to create intercultural and intergenerational exchanges.
The Golden Ladle soup competition is the central activity of the Festival, the soup being a dish common to all cultures of the world. This is a friendly competition for professional and amateur chefs who aspire to be awarded a symbolic Golden Ladle after a popular vote.
With sandboxes, bean bag toss games, outdoor group games and obstacle courses, there is fun to be had by all. There are also guided tours for all ages of the mill and the miller’s house, plus cart tours. Additionally, this year will feature a troupe of traditional dancers, Les Éclusiers de Lachine.
The Vaudreuil-Soulanges SOUP Festival takes place at Pointe-du-Moulin Historical Park, Notre-Dame-de-l'île-Perrot and is FREE for all.
