search of an authentic musical style, the approach of Chakib Kouidri is rooted
in a plural tradition, guided by his encounters. With the desert of his native
Algeria dwelling inside him, the artist reconnects with history, calling upon
the great names: Ahmed Wahbi, Blaoui El-Houari and even Cheb Khaled will join
in, rearranged for this occasion in an Oriental raï to the sound of African
jazz.
