With this new creation, we find the anarchic and joyful signature of orchestre d’hommes-orchestres (L’ODHO). Strewn across the stage are screens of all sizes, a hodgepodge of objects, mechanisms and ping-pong balls. Hanging over the rubble is a harpsichord. Within this jumble, seven revolutionaries retreat from the world, bringing with them texts from the Comité invisible and a traditional Acadian tale. These narratives interweave, while a timely political commentary emerges, seasoned with a little zaniness, courtesy of L’ODHO. Tomatesis a call to arms for rebellion, in form and in content.
