In the context of the exhibition Notman, A Visionary Photographer, the McCord Museum, in collaboration with BDC Capital and the Notman House, has organised an informal series featuring exceptional Montreal entrepreneurs.
A passionate video artist with a calling for installation art and electro-acoustic music, Monique Savoie is an integral part of the Montreal avant-garde. In 1995, she directed the sixth International Symposium on Electronic Arts, ISEA95 Montreal, and in the following year, founded the Society for Art and Technology (SAT), for which she acts as the artistic and development director. Since 2016, Monique Savoie also acts as Associate Director of La Gaité Lyrique in Paris.
