Sit comfortably in Room A-832's cozy sofas, in front of a big screen, and learn about one of 19th century's most famous composer!
Charles-Marie Widor (1844 – 1937), the most famous composer of organ music since Bach, wrote ten revolutionary organ symphonies that established the organ as a rival of the orchestra and composed a Toccata that is probably the best-loved piece of organ music ever written. His life was intertwined with that of the great French organ builder Aristide Cavaillé-Coll: the film gives great insight in his life through interviews with Widor scholars.
