Paul Arthur is different from most Blues singers on the circuit. Although he performs today's powerhouse Blues Songs like Crossroads, Pride & Joy, Mojo, & Hoochie Coochie Man, he loves to sing some of the earliest narrative ballads of the 1920's-1940's.
Paul's powerful gravelly voice has been compared to Joe Cocker, Tom Waits & Johnny Winter, but he's definitely one of a kind! His harmonica style has been compared to Paul Butterfield, and the late great Little Walter, but again, he's unique, and copies no one.

Paul Arthur & Raisin' Cain were the 'Grand Prize Winners' in the 'Battle of the Blues Bands' Contest, & won a trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras 2016. The band was invited to play a few sets at the legendary Blues Club 'THE FUNKY PIRATE' on Bourbon Street. They were streamed LIVE around the world, & received several encores.
