Norman Marshall Villeneuve is an icon of Canadian jazz. Norm grew up in Montreal's Little Burgundy. He has performed with jazz royalty: Duke Ellington, Curtis Fuller, Cootie Williams, Wayne Shorter, Junior Mance and Oliver Jones, and toured throughout North and South America.
In his 7th decade in music there is no letup for this hard-driving boss man. Celebrated for his intense drum solos, Norm is known as "Canada's Art Blakey."
