For two years, Escrime Mont-Royal (EMR) has organized an outdoor fencing tournament, a unique event in both Quebec and Canada. Following the success of the first two editions of the Duel Fort Chambly, EMR has partnered with the Stewart Museum on Île Sainte-Hélène to bring the Duel to the shores of the St-Lawrence River, with a stunning view of downtown Montreal. The Duel Sainte-Hélène will be June 17, 2017 (rain date June 18) on the picturesque site of the old fort.
This is not just a tournament but an opportunity for all to discover the noble art and science of fencing. Come watch this exciting tournament and try fencing yourself.
