The exhibition "De la pénombre" brings together a body of painted works that deal with an imaginary landscape all at once nordic, dreamlike, symbolic and mythical, inspired amongst other things by laurentian landscapes. Wilder than tamed, nature mirrors the artist herein projecting the intuitive expression of her subconscious, in search of an elsewhere. Within matter a sort of animism smolders. Natural elements populate the spaces represented like anthropomorphized apparitions or mystical visions frozen in time. These entropic landscapes, where space is decomposed and recomposed, could be interpreted as the open end metaphor of a world "on the threshold" or turning, at once dusk and dawn.
