Dans un futur où l’humanité a perdu la capacité de se reproduire, le chaos s’installe en Angleterre quand le plus jeune citoyen meurt à 18 ans. Alors que Londres est à feu et à sang, un bureaucrate désillusionné devient le protecteur d’une femme enceinte, le dernier espoir de la race humaine.

The Phi Centre and the Centre Canadien d'Architecture / Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) present Phi X CCA: a film series that questions some assumptions about our relationship to nature to accompany the exhibition "It’s All Happening So Fast".
The series continues with Alfonso Cuarón’s CHILDREN OF MEN (2006). Set in a near future where the human race has lost its ability to reproduce, England descends into chaos when the world’s youngest citizen dies at 18. As London is torn apart by violence and warring nationalistic sects, disillusioned bureaucrat Theo becomes an unlikely champion of Earth’s survival. When the planet’s last remaining hope lone pregnant woman Kee is threatened, this reluctant activist is forced to face his own demons and protect her from certain peril.
