Le Bozzini Lab est un atelier intensif de composition pour cordes dédié aux jeunes compositeurs. Les objectifs sont l’amélioration des habiletés techniques en écriture contemporaine pour les cordes et de favoriser l’apprentissage d’idées créatives dans un environnement entièrement dédié à cette cause. Pendant une semaine, le quatuor et un compositeur mentor — Éric Morin (Université Laval) — se penchent sur l’œuvre des compositeurs participants. The Bozzini Lab is an intensive workshop on composing for strings intended for young composers. The goals of the workshop are to improve technical skills for contemporary writing for strings and string quartet, and to provide a supportive environment for visionary compositional ideas. Over the course of a week, the Quatuor Bozzini and one mentor composer — Éric Morin (Université Laval) — observe the work of the up-and-coming composers.
