In this three-part work, Mark Lawes becomes a sociological detective searching for a multi-disciplinary stage language that delves into our society’s schizophrenic consciousness. At the outset, preoccupied by the growing use of technologies and its impact on our behaviour and our relationships, he merges the worlds of dance, philosophy, pop-rock music, ready-made installation and video in a vast construction site of possible futures. The trilogy follows the cycle of the life of a star and a possible reconciliation with our pre-apocalyptic world.
